Our Valentines Day trip, we headed straight over to the back of Hamilton Island, the beaches here were surprisingly clean so we removed what was there and headed to Turtle Bay, Whitsunday Island. Turtle bay was much more impacted with plastics a lot of which were small micro plastics. These smaller pieces of plastic are harder to remove but vital as they are easily ingested by marine life.
