Barge Trip # 278

February 18, 2019 by Fiona Broadbent

Date: 18th February 2019
Location: South Molle Island
Partner: Reef Catchments
Volunteers: 9
Debris Removed: 160 kilograms

Today we cleaned all of South Molle Island, a total of 8 beaches. Many of these beaches were heavily impacted with marine plastics most of which were small pieces which are time consuming to remove. We had a couple of cancellations for today’s trip, but the 7 volunteers that turned up worked as hard as 10.
