Awareness
& Education

At Eco Barge, we have a strong community reach to spark awareness, provide education, promote active participation in marine conservation and educate on the circularity of waste.

Educational Programs

Eco Ambassador Education Program

The Eco Ambassador Program engages students across the Whitsundays in our environmental initiatives. Eco Barge hosts Eco Ambassador Event Days, which are open to all students in the region.

These event days offer a unique opportunity for students to explore key topics such as marine debris challenges, recycling, turtle conservation, and the care of sick and injured turtles. Students will also have the chance to participate in Land-Based Clean-Ups.

Partner with us

Join forces with us to inspire the next generation of environmental advocates! By partnering with educators, we empower students to become Eco Ambassadors, actively contributing to marine conservation and circular practices.

Together, we can promote responsible and circular waste management and protect our marine environment from pollution.

Paradise Outdoor Advertising: Raising Awareness for Marine Conservation

Paradise Outdoor Advertising (POA) is helping raise public awareness about protecting our marine environment. Managing over 1,700 billboards across Queensland, POA reaches more than 2.75 million people daily.

Through our partnership, POA is supporting Eco Barge’s mission by promoting key messages across billboards to inspire action and encourage community involvement. This collaboration aims to engage new volunteers, raise awareness, and foster stewardship for the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef.

With POA’s extensive reach, we’re excited to monitor how this campaign drives greater engagement and participation, helping protect our oceans. Thank you, POA, for supporting Eco Barge in spreading the message and inspiring action!
