Debris Removed: 75 kilograms
With magical conditions we headed down to Thomas Island in the Southern Group as we had a report there was a build up of marine debris piled up for us above the high tide line, only to get there and notice the beaches had been cleaned. So we then headed off to Long Island but the winds had picked up and the tides where not in our favour to land safely on this islands. What a challenging day, but we did end up removing 75 kgs of light micro plastics.
