Date: 16th July
Location: George’s Point and Grassy Island
Partner: Queensland Government
Volunteers: 10
Debris Removed: 120 kilograms
With the wind picking up to a steady southwesterly in the morning, we headed north to the known protected areas of George’s Point and Grassy Island. It was a top day out, and we managed a good haul of 120 kilos of marine debris, thanks again to the support from the Queensland Government’s Community Sustainability Action Grant Program.
